Sean Michael Carter has lived an adventurous life and travelled to many countries in the world. He first joined the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer at the age of sixteen. He passed the extreme physical and mental training and after service in the RN he joined the Merchant Navy. During his time in the Merchant Navy Sean studied theology and became a Christian Minister in 1989, and then an ordained Baptist Minister in 1994. Since then he has been a passionate philanthropist, and has done a lot of charity work in third world countries. He re-joined the Royal Navy at the age of 38 as a military chaplain and further travelled the world, whilst specialising in helping those with PTSD issues. He left the Navy in 2014 and accepted a part-time position in a small Baptist Church, to find the time to finish the amazing story that is the Simal.
